Reports to: Senior Account Director
Location: Camden, NJ - this role will sit in the client's office 1 day a week
The Salary Range for this role is $70k to $85k 
 

JOB SUMMARY

We’re seeking an experienced and driven Account Manager to lead day-to-day client relationships and oversee integrated marketing and advertising initiatives across multiple channels. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who thrives on collaboration, and excels in client communication.

The Account Manager will serve as the key liaison between the client and internal agency teams—creative, strategy, production, and post. Ensuring flawless execution, strong cross-department synergy, and measurable business impact.

This role will be embedded within the client organization SOA (Subaru of America) for 1-2 days per week and requires an individual that is comfortable working in this envrinment and will represent the agency in a very professional manner. They will be a strong ambassador for the agency and will help augment the capabilities of the SOA content team.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Client Leadership & Relationship Management
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients (Subaru of America Content Team and other business units, launch, social, retail and digital platforms), building trusted and strategic relationships at all levels.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each client’s business objectives, brand strategy, and category dynamics.
  • Partner closely with client-side marketing, creative, and product teams to foster collaboration and seamless integration across departments.
  • Anticipate client needs, identify growth opportunities, and proactively bring forward new ideas and solutions.
  • Project & Production Management
  • Lead the planning and execution of complex campaigns—across multiple owned channels such as digital, and .com, retail, social, and experiential platforms.
  • Manage CGI and RTE productions, collaborating with internal agency technical and creative teams to deliver high-quality, photorealistic assets on time and on budget.
  • Ensure production workflows align with agency standards, managing timelines, budgets, approvals, and deliverables.
  • Centrally coordinate between with SOA internal teams and other external agency partners – internal creative garage, creative agency of record and Auto Show partners.
  • Strategic & Creative Partnership
  • Collaborate with strategy, creative, and data teams to develop integrated campaign platforms that drive brand performance.
  • Provide clear, inspiring briefs that align with client goals and audience insights.
  • Evaluate creative work through both strategic and executional lenses, ensuring it meets brand and business objectives.
  • Operational & Financial Management
  • Oversee project scopes, budgets, and profitability for assigned accounts.
  • Partner with producers and finance to manage estimates, change orders, and reconciliations.
  • Support the Senior Account Director in annual planning and forecasting.
  • Internal Leadership & Collaboration
  • Champion cross-functional teamwork and communication between departments: creative, production, CGI, and client-side marketing operations.
  • Mentor junior team members, fostering growth and accountability.
  • Contribute to agency-wide initiatives and share best practices across teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5–8 years of experience in an advertising, marketing, or integrated agency environment
  • Strong understanding of creative and production processes, from concept through final delivery
  • Exceptional client management and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into creative and executional plans
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment
