Reports to: North America Lead
Location: NY or NJ- This is a hybrid role and requires 2- 3 days a week at the Kenvue office in Summit, NJ 
The freelance range for this role is $2200/week. The FL role would start asap, with potential for long term hire. 

ABOUT THIS ROLE 
 
The Account Manager will be responsible for one of the following three categories: 

  • Self Care
  • Essential Health Care Products 

The Account Manager will be responsible for partnering with the North American Lead to manage the global agency partnership within a larger consumer goods portfolio. The  Account Manager will work in tight partnership with the creative and strategy leads for the same category; alongside the teams leading the two other client divisions. 

The role combines strategic, client, team, and overall business management and will report to the Category Lead. This role will have responsibility for the health and growth of the client partnership; for the delivery of our work across the skin and beauty division globally; and being a respected thought leader and collaborate with various marketing partners, other client category leads, and other agency partners. 
 
 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Support Category Leads and clients by enabling them to develop and deliver holistic campaigns, innovative projects, and provide advice regarding change management 
  • Work closely with various internal teams (i.e. Project Management, Strategy, Creative, Production) and ability to communicate clear client direction to those teams 
  • Ability to drive projects forward autonomously with consultation of team leads, being able to bridge communication gaps, manage project development while bringing a strong understanding of the production process. 
  • Presenting to client audiences at the Manager, Director and Executive level. 
  • Ensure work is meeting client needs/expectations and delivered in a timely manner and within budget. 
  • Contribute to writing creative briefs; ensure that all information necessary for successful completion of the project is gathered from the client, works with project managers to ensure that the client’s schedule requirements are met for each project. 
  • Assist with creative production requirements and managing timelines including briefing, obtaining internal and external approvals on work and attend video shoots 
  • Responsible for budgeting tasks such as creation of estimates, scope of work and budget tracking. 
  • Ensures the client’s voice is heard and understood by capturing and translating accurate client input and feedback, and providing that information to the team 
  • Able to communicate client priorities, direction, and concerns to the team in verbal and written form 
  • Collaboration and integration with partner agencies and various client stakeholders 
  • Ability to identify new opportunities to grow existing business 
  • Job requires some travel as well as the potential for evening and/or weekend work (specific to video shoots) 

  

REQUIREMENTS 

  • 3 to 5 years of Account Management experience, ideally within an agency setting 
  • Beauty, Skin, or Wellness industry CPG experience 
  • Experience working on various types of marketing (print, video, digital and web) 
  • Revenue Management skills 
  • Exceptional presentation skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with internal teams and external clients 
  • Drive to deliver innovation and effective application of technologies 
  • Curiosity for continued improvement 
  • Strong use of data for optimization (effectiveness and efficiency) 
  • Ability to handle high pressure situations 
  • Willingness to wear many hats while giving team members autonomy and support
