The Studio Coordinator is an important support role to the Post Production team. This individual must be highly organized and eager to learn more about the producer workflow and the necessary steps for technical execution and the creative vision. This person will assist the Producers with everything from estimate preparation, routing, and tracking of media assets, progress updates, and tracking current production schedules. Most importantly, we are looking for a team player who is looking to learn and thrive within our rapidly growing post department.
Schedule: Hybrid - In office 3 days per week and 2 remote
Location: Los Angeles
Reports to: Executive Producer
Salary Range: $50-$55K – this is a non-exempt position, so you will be OT eligible.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Key supporting role to Post Producer for all production needs, from editorial to finishing, in post production.
- Tracking project timelines through post, production data, captured media, brand assets and changes to project direction.
- Act as eyes and ears of post workflow and flag issues to Post Producer
- Provides progress reports to Post Producers with project status and timeline.
- Quality check all in-coming and out-going assets, especially when submitting to creative or client approval.
- Ensures client feedback is properly distributed to the team and addressed to meet client needs.
- Possesses strong multi-task skills and remains aware of all production needs simultaneously.
- Assist with license requests, asset and production purchases.
- Organizes and maintains the project deliverable files.
- Takes extremely detailed notes during production meetings and distributes notes to Producers.
- Ensure all feedback and changes are properly documented for future recalls.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be well organized with strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
- 2+ years in a Production Assistant, Coordinator, or Operations role.
- Post vendor experience preferred (internships, entry-level assignments, etc.)
- Confident, positive attitude and ability to problem solve.
- Sharp eye for quality checking.
- Knowledge of Video Production and/or Post Production.
- Must be able to work efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines.

US Pay Range
$50,000 - $55,000 USD
