About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Account Director to lead one of our key global ecommerce accounts, managing a multi-market content production ecosystem (content factory model).

This is a senior client leadership role with full business ownership, where you will:

  • Act as the main strategic partner for the client
  • Oversee delivery across markets and teams
  • Drive commercial performance and operational excellence

You’ll work closely with Client Services, Operations and Production leads to ensure the model runs efficiently at scale.


Key Responsibilities

Client Leadership & Partnership

  • Own senior relationships with key stakeholders (marketing, procurement, ecommerce/content leads)
  • Lead governance, strategic conversations and long-term planning
  • Build trust and position Omnicom as a key partner in the client’s content ecosystem

Business Ownership

  • Own the account P&L, ensuring revenue growth and profitability
  • Identify risks, inefficiencies and growth opportunities
  • Drive sustainable business performance and account expansion

Team leadership & orchestration

  • Lead a cross-functional setup (Client Leads, Brand Leads, Project teams)
  • Ensure alignment across markets and functions
  • Address structural challenges (resourcing, processes, ways of working)

Content factory evolution

  • Continuously improve the content factory model (scalability, efficiency, quality)
  • Drive transformation initiatives (automation, AI, workflow optimization)
  • Partner with operations and production to implement improvement

What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years in account leadership / business direction roles (agency, production or content environment)
  • Strong experience managing large, international clients with complex stakeholder structures
  • Proven ability to lead large teams indirectly and drive cross-functional alignment
  • Solid commercial acumen (P&L ownership, revenue growth, profitability)
  • Experience in ecommerce and/or large-scale content production ecosystems
  • Experience in beauty, luxury, fashion or retail is a strong plus
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior level
  • Fluent English (C1+). Spanish and/or French is a plus

  • Clear identification of key challenges and implementation of improvements
  • Stable commercial performance and a roadmap for growth
