Test Engineering Supervisor

Job Overview

This position will lead the whole test and debug team, provide technical support for AC to DC power supplies and BMP products testing, develop NPI test fixtures and test programs, maintain related test equipment and test fixtures, analyze and repair test defective products, etc.

This position reports to engineering manager in Shanghai Plant.

 

Responsibilities

As the Test Engineering Supervisor, you will:

  • Be responsible for the management of the entire test and debug team
  • NPI projects test fixtures and test program development work
  • Analyze and repair the defective products
  • Be responsible for the maintenance and repair of relevant test equipment and fixtures
  • Be responsible for achieving key indicators such as FPY and Down time/Rework time of the test team

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, majoring in electronics or automation and related fields
  • More than 5 years of testing experience in electronics products and more than 2 years of team management experience 
  • Familiar with the production and manufacturing processes of electronic factories, understanding processes such as SMT, wave soldering, conformal coating, etc. and have rich experience in testing power supply products as well as analyzing and repairing defective products
  • Have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to lead the team to solve all kinds of complex problems
  • Good English listening and speaking skills, with the ability to have technical exchanges in English and participate in various English meetings

Desired Characteristics:

  • Be proficient in using various electronic measurement devices, such as AC and DC sources, electronic loads, oscilloscopes, signal generators, etc.
  • Proficient master at least one programming language, such as Lab windows cvi/test stand, C /C++, C#, Python, etc.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt/Green Belt
  • Good teamwork awareness and communication skills, Experience in cross-functional team project management is preferred.
