Controller, Investment Operations

Remote

About the company

Hi, we're Ondo Finance. Our mission is to provide institutional-grade, blockchain-enabled investment products and services. We have both a technology arm that develops decentralized finance technology, and an asset management arm that creates and manages tokenized funds. We were the first company to tokenize exposure to US Treasuries, and have since expanded into several other assets. We are also focused on incubating protocols that can support both tokenized real-world assets and traditional crypto.

Founded by folks from Goldman Sachs Digital Assets Team, we’re backed by some of the best investors in the world including Founders Fund, Coinbase Ventures, Pantera Capital, Tiger Global, and more. We are currently the leaders in the space in terms of AUM and are well capitalized to continue growing the firm. We're fully remote, with team members across the U.S.

About the Role

We are hiring a Controller, Investment Operations to own accounting and financial reporting for Ondo’s tokenized products (OUSG, USDY, OGM).

Systems & Technology

  • Help lead implementation and scaling of Geneva (or similar fund accounting systems)
  • Improve accounting workflows to support increasing trade volume and complexity
  • Identify and address operational bottlenecks as systems scale
  • Reduce reliance on manual processes and improve automation

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Partner with investment operations, legal, compliance, and finance teams
  • Provide accounting input on new product development and operational design
  • Support expansion into new products including margin, perpetual futures, and derivatives

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in fund accounting or investment accounting within asset management
  • Experience in hedge funds, multi-strategy platforms, or trading environments with exposure to high-volume or systematic trading environments
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, fund structures, and financial instruments (equities, fixed income, derivatives)
  • Experience with NAV calculations, reconciliations, and investor reporting
  • Experience coordinating audits and working with external auditors and tax advisors

Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
