Executive Assistant, Managing Director

Remote
About the Company
Hi, we're Ondo Finance. Our mission is to provide institutional-grade, blockchain-enabled investment products and services. We have both a technology arm that develops decentralized finance infrastructure, and an asset management arm that creates and manages tokenized funds. We were the first company to tokenize exposure to US Treasuries, and have since expanded into several other asset categories. We’re also focused on incubating protocols that support both tokenized real-world assets and traditional crypto.

Founded by alumni of Goldman Sachs’ Digital Assets team, Ondo is backed by world-class investors including Founders Fund, Coinbase Ventures, Pantera Capital, and Tiger Global. We’re fully remote with team members across the U.S., and currently the category leader by AUM. We're well-capitalized and growing quickly.

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized, operationally-minded Executive Assistant to directly support our Managing Director, who oversees the Operations and Finance functions of the business. This role goes far beyond traditional calendar and travel management — it's about creating leverage for the Managing Director by owning scheduling, communications, document workflows, and cross-functional coordination that keep Operations and Finance running efficiently.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resourceful, and proactive, with experience supporting senior leaders in complex and fast-moving organizations. You should be comfortable navigating a dynamic environment with a high degree of autonomy, handling sensitive business information with discretion, and communicating clearly with internal and external stakeholders including vendors and operational partners.

This is a high-trust, high-impact role with real visibility into the operational and financial priorities and decisions that drive the business. There will be occasional travel as needed for team offsites.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of the Managing Director's calendar, including prioritization, conflict resolution, and proactive scheduling across Operations and Finance workstreams.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements and process corresponding expenses in a timely manner.
  • Support the Managing Director in preparing for recurring finance and operational cadences (e.g., monthly All Hands, budget cycles, operational reviews).
  • Assist in drafting and editing internal communications, presentations, and briefing documents as needed.
  • Support special projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed, providing coordination and follow-through.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience supporting senior executives, preferably in organizations with Finance and/or Operations functions.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage complex, competing priorities across multiple workstreams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a high degree of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive business information with discretion.
  • Comfort working with financial documents, operational reports, and business data at a summary level.
  • Proficiency with modern productivity and collaboration tools (Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, or equivalents).
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Nice to Haves
  • Experience in crypto, fintech, investment management or other regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of DeFi, tokenized assets or blockchain ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting cycles, budget processes, or operational KPI frameworks.
  • Experience implementing or improving administrative systems, tools, or workflows.
  • Previous experience using ChatGPT, Claude, and Fireflies.ai a plus.
What We Offer
  • Competitive compensation including salary, equity, and/or future token rights based on your preferences
  • Full benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Flexible PTO and remote-first flexibility
  • A+ team culture — our colleagues come from Goldman Sachs, BlackRock, SpaceX, AWS, Meta, Circle, McKinsey, and more
  • Backing from leading crypto-native and global VCs including Pantera, Founders Fund, and Coinbase Ventures

As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
