Solutions Engineer, APAC

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Solutions Engineer to join our growing team and help power Ondo's expansion across the APAC region. This is a highly technical, partner-facing role responsible for helping exchanges, custodians, wallets, and other strategic partners successfully integrate with Ondo's products and infrastructure.

As one of the primary technical points of contact for partners, you'll work closely with Business Development, Product, and Engineering teams throughout the entire partner lifecycle—from technical discovery and solution design through implementation, launch, and ongoing optimization. You'll troubleshoot complex integration challenges, provide technical guidance, and ensure partners are successful long after launch.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving difficult technical problems while building strong external relationships. You'll act as the bridge between our partners and internal engineering teams, helping accelerate integrations while identifying opportunities to improve our products and developer experience.

The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering fundamentals with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of blockchain infrastructure. Experience working with exchanges, crypto infrastructure providers, or institutional blockchain products is highly valued.

This role is focused on supporting partners across the APAC region. Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese is required, and candidates should be comfortable maintaining approximately 8–10 hours of overlap with U.S. working hours each week to collaborate effectively with our globally distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical integrations with strategic partners across the APAC region, including exchanges, custodians, wallets, and other ecosystem participants
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact throughout partner onboarding, implementation, launch, and post-launch support
• Work closely with Business Development during technical evaluations, architecture discussions, and partner diligence
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive rapid resolution by coordinating with Engineering and Product teams
• Build trusted relationships with partner engineering teams and provide technical guidance throughout the integration lifecycle
• Coordinate successful partner launches and drive post-launch adoption and ongoing technical success
• Translate partner feedback into actionable product improvements and advocate for enhancements to Ondo's platform
• Improve developer experience by identifying friction points and helping evolve documentation, tooling, and integration processes
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Business Development, and Operations to ensure successful partner outcomes
• Stay current on blockchain infrastructure, tokenization, APIs, and digital asset ecosystem developments

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Technical Account Management, Forward Deployed Engineering, Developer Relations, or a similar technical customer-facing role
• Strong software engineering or systems engineering foundation with the ability to understand APIs, distributed systems, and blockchain infrastructure
• Professional experience within crypto, digital assets, blockchain infrastructure, or Web3
• Experience supporting technical integrations with external partners or enterprise customers
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to independently own partner relationships and drive projects from discovery through production launch
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a bias toward execution
• Experience collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to resolve technical issues and improve products
• Fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English is required
• Willingness to maintain regular overlap with U.S.-based teams (approximately 8–10 hours per week)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting exchange integrations, institutional trading infrastructure, or digital asset custody platforms
• Experience with DeFi protocols, tokenization platforms, or real-world asset infrastructure
• Previous experience at organizations such as Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, OKX, Anchorage, Paxos, Chainlink, Consensys, or similar blockchain companies
• Experience working with REST APIs, SDKs, blockchain nodes, smart contracts, or developer tooling
• Background in Developer Relations, Technical Account Management, or customer implementation roles
• Familiarity with institutional financial markets, trading infrastructure, or capital markets
