Product Manager, Stocks

Remote (US)
About the company

Hi, we're Ondo Finance. Our mission is to provide institutional-grade, blockchain-enabled investment products and services. We have both a technology arm that develops decentralized finance technology, and an asset management arm that creates and manages tokenized funds. We were the first company to tokenize exposure to US Treasuries, and have since expanded into several other assets. We are also focused on incubating protocols that can support both tokenized real-world assets and traditional crypto.

Founded by folks from Goldman Sachs Digital Assets Team, we’re backed by some of the best investors in the world including Founders Fund, Coinbase Ventures, Pantera Capital, Tiger Global, and more. We are currently the leaders in the space in terms of AUM and are well capitalized to continue growing the firm. We're fully remote, with team members across the U.S.

About the role

We’re looking for a Product Manager to help build and scale our Stocks product. This role sits at the intersection of consumer fintech, capital markets, and digital assets, and is an opportunity to shape how users access and interact with stocks and other real-world assets onchain.

You’ll own the development and growth of the product across the full lifecycle—from defining the strategy and roadmap to designing the user experience, navigating market structure and operational constraints, and shipping products to market. A core part of the role will be making the complexity of capital markets and blockchain infrastructure feel simple and intuitive for users.

You’ll work closely with engineering, design, legal, compliance, operations, and business teams to bring products to market and help define what the next generation of onchain investing looks like.

Responsibilities
  • Own the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for Ondo’s stocks product.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and translate them into simple, intuitive product experiences.
  • Lead products from concept through launch and iteration, defining requirements, prioritizing features, and making thoughtful tradeoffs along the way.
  • Design experiences that abstract away the complexity of brokerage, trading, settlement, and blockchain infrastructure for users.
  • Partner closely with engineering and design to build high-quality consumer products.
  • Work cross-functionally with legal, compliance, operations, and business teams to navigate the unique requirements of bringing traditional financial assets onchain.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of market structure, trading workflows, liquidity, and the competitive landscape across both traditional finance and crypto.
  • Use customer insights, product data, and market developments to identify opportunities and inform product decisions.
  • Help define Ondo’s longer-term product vision for how stocks and other real-world assets can exist and trade onchain.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of product management experience building and shipping consumer-facing financial products.
  • Strong understanding of capital markets and market structure, including how trading, order books, execution, and brokerage workflows operate.
  • Deep expertise in securities market infrastructure, including a thorough understanding of clearing and settlement ecosystems and the operational mechanics of stock trading lifecycles.
  • Strong command of the regulatory landscape and compliance frameworks for securities trading, with the ability to partner effectively with Legal and Compliance teams..
  • Strong consumer product instincts, with the ability to turn complex financial concepts and infrastructure into intuitive user experiences.
  • Experience working in a strong product culture and partnering closely with engineering and design to ship high-quality products.
  • Genuine, hands-on experience using crypto and DeFi products. You should be an active user of the ecosystem, not simply interested in the space.
  • Strong analytical and product judgment, with the ability to prioritize effectively and make decisions in ambiguous environments.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • High degree of curiosity and an ability to quickly develop expertise across unfamiliar or rapidly evolving areas.
Nice to have
  • Experience building products at a brokerage, investing platform, trading application, neobroker, neobank, fintech, or crypto company.
  • Experience working directly on retail investing, equities, brokerage, or trading products.
  • Professional experience in crypto or digital assets.
  • Experience with real-world assets (RWAs), tokenization, or bringing traditional financial products onchain.
  • Familiarity with DeFi market structure, decentralized exchanges, liquidity, and onchain trading.
  • Experience working on products that span both traditional financial infrastructure and blockchain-based systems.
What we offer
  • Competitive compensation including salary, future token rights, and/or equity (according to your preferences) — we're well-funded and believe that great talent deserves great compensation
  • Full benefits (medical, vision, and dental) and flexible vacation policy (PTO)
  • Small remote-first team across many countries — you'll be an early team member helping shape our vision, culture, and design practices
  • A+ colleagues — our team includes alumni from: Goldman Sachs, Blackrock, Two Sigma, Bridgewater, SpaceX, AWS, Meta, Google, Pinterest, McKinsey, Circle, Uniswap, Phantom
  • Best-in-class investors — we are proud to be backed by leading crypto experts and VCs, including Pantera Capital, Founders Fund and Coinbase Ventures

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
