About the Role
We are seeking two Trees Execution Coordinators to support implementation of Impact Ventures tree program activities in our areas of operations. The Trees Program in Malawi is in 11 districts, namely; Lilongwe, Dedza, Ntcheu, Machinga, Zomba, Chiradzulu, Blantyre, Mulanje, Thyolo and Phalombe. You will report to the Trees Execution Lead.
Responsibilities
Impact and Execution
- You will support the successful execution of Agroforestry activities, which include distribution of nursery inputs, seedlings distribution, farmer mobilization, and expansion through overseeing the implementation of strategies to achieve team and organization-level targets.
- You will work with the District Supervisors, and Senior Field Officers to implement the program goals/targets through execution excellence across all pillars
- You will collaborate with other departments and support any programe or product innovation trials that may take place in the district, to serve our farmers best.
- You will lead meetings and contribute to planning of field Activities provide field experience, feedback, support and suggestions for other departments
Team Management
- Line Manager of at least 3 District Supervisors who manage Senior Field Officers
- Mentor District Supervisors according to One Acre Fund's model to develop them through delegation, check-ins, empowerment and training
- Build a team culture of growth, integrity, and accountability to programmatic goals through monthly conversations regarding team morale

Qualifications
Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Forestry, Natural Resources, Environmental Sciences, Rural Development or related fields.
- 2+ years of experience in Forestry, Agriculture, Rural Development; or related.
- Strong Computer, Data management using google Workspace Tools, Advanced Excel (can perform complex functions) / Google Sheets. Data analysis is an added advantage
- English and Chichewa
