About the Role
We are looking for senior field officers to support implementation of the Impact Ventures tree program activities in our operational districts. You will report to the District Supervisor of your district and manage at least five seasonal field staff. You will be responsible for field team and data management to ensure the program hits its target.
Responsibilities
Field team Management
- You will assist the Senior District Supervisor in the recruitment and hiring of seasonal staff
- You will train and monitor seasonal field staff on program activities, performance and future growth prospects
Manage field Communication
- You will provide actionable feedback to both the District Supervisor and Field Assistants
- You will share program updates with other departments in the overlap areas of operation
Field Data management
- You will compile and submit field reports on each designated date and analyze to recommend ways of improving low metrics
- You will collect and update village verification data at EPA level
- You will conduct seedlings distribution data reconciliation
Manage Distribution of Inputs and Materials
- You will assist the District Supervisor in planning and distribution of tree nursery inputs(seeds, tubes) in a cost efficient way.
- You will plan and manage tree seedlings distribution process ensuring good mobilization and accuracy in data reconciliation.

Qualifications
Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:
- Diploma in Agriculture, Forestry, Rural Development, Community Development, or a related field.
- 1 year proven experience in tree nursery production, community engagement, and partnership development.
- Knowledge of local community and government structures, practices and challenges is desirable.
- Proficiency in performing computer functions such as emails, and basic Microsoft Excel functions.
- Team management experience.
- Fluency in English and Chichewa languages
- Motorcycle riding skills
