About the Role
You will lead the planning and coordination of tree distribution, ensuring government engagement, stakeholder collaboration, and efficient logistics. You will oversee farmer mobilization, training, and data tracking to maximize tree survival and impact. Additionally, you will manage reporting, project implementation, and team development while driving innovation and efficiency in tree distribution operations
Responsibilities
Campaign Planning & Government Engagement
- Lead the execution of the tree campaign, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Secure necessary approvals from local governments and authorities.
- Engage and manage main districts to gain support and ensure participation in the campaign.
- Collaborate with Twigire Muhinzi field coordinators to finalize tree distribution plans and obtain district approvals.
- Manage tree distribution planning tools, ensuring real-time access for all partners.
- Oversee procurement of distribution materials, ensuring quality and availability.
- Coordinate with the Extension team and Government Relations team to conduct district engagement meetings and secure government support.
Tree Distribution Oversight
- Plan and oversee the implementation of tree distribution activities.
- Mobilize farmers and provide training in collaboration with the Extension team and other key stakeholders to maximize uptake and planting success.
- Oversee mobilization efforts in collaboration with the Extension team.
- Organize and lead all tree distribution training sessions, ensuring content meets organizational standards.
- Coordinate logistics for tree distribution, including:
- Distribution calendar management
- Farmer registration and engagement
- Procurement and distribution of materials
Reporting & Impact Assessment
- Maintain and oversee the Tree Distribution Dashboard for real-time tracking and insights.
- Ensure the team provides post-mortem insights before taking leave.
- Compile important learnings from post-mortem analysis and develop strategies for the next distribution cycle.
- Prepare detailed reports for external partners, highlighting impact, challenges, and recommendations
- Analyze data and provide recommendations to improve department effectiveness.

Qualifications
Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:
- 3+ years of experience
- Technical: Data analysis skills (i.e., Google Sheets advanced formulas,), project management
- Soft skills: Communication, interpersonal, organizational, team building
