About the Role
Seek an experienced agricultural professional with 2–3 years of experience to work with farmers, and ensure quality implementation of responsible practices across 2–3 districts .As High Touch Extension Supervisor, You will be a part of our Product Innovation and will report directly to HTE Coordinator . This role is based in South (Huye) and East ( Kayonza). You will be on site.
This is one year contract role which can be renewed based on the performance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular visits to baby farms to support and ensure that the quality recommended practices from the mother farm are being followed.
- Support extension agents by providing daily technical guidance on implementing HTE practices.
- Collect data and observations on baby farm performance (e.g., crop health, yield estimates, resource use) and make a report.
- Assist agents in keeping field records, such as planting dates, input use, harvesting and challenges encountered.
- Identify input needs (e.g., seeds, tools) and report them for provision.
- Share agent feedback with the Coordinator to inform program adjustments or training improvements.

Qualifications
Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:
- Bachelor's degree in agronomy, or related science (environmental science, rural development, biological) with 2 to 3 years of experience in agriculture sector
- Have a complete understanding of Rwanda agriculture sector/farming system
- Basic skills on PPT, email and other online browsers such as google sheet, google documents with basic excel formulas)
- Have good Kinyarwanda and English communication
