Our Rwanda program, founded in 2007 is our largest and operates under the local brand Tubura. We have more than 3,000 staff across all four provinces of Rwanda, as well as in Kigali. Together, we served more than 2.8 million farmers in 2024. We work closely with the government to support national efforts to improve food security. Additionally, we help channel funding and resources to promising agri-SMEs, supporting farmers by providing a market for high-impact crops such as coffee, avocado, and chili.

About the Role

Seeking a Data Audit Supervisor to ensure data accuracy and integrity, support reporting, and provide trusted insights to drive informed organizational decisions.

Responsibilities

Data Quality Assurance

  • Support data quality assurance for Scale Innovation field activities by conducting back-checks, verifications, and field investigations to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of quantitative and qualitative data.

Data Verification & Improvement

  • Identify, document, and follow up on data errors, gaps, and inconsistencies by coordinating with field teams, supporting timely corrections, and providing insights to strengthen survey design, implementation, and overall data reliability

Data Management & Analysis Support

  • Support effective data management and reporting through maintaining data quality trackers and dashboards, contributing to verified data summaries, and assisting with qualitative research activities such as focus group note-taking, transcription, translation, and data analysis.

Reporting & Team Coordination

  • Compile and report verified survey and market data (including baseline, follow-up, and market price data) and facilitate coordination between field teams, Trial Owners, and the Data Team to ensure consistent data quality standards and informed decision-making

Qualifications

Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:

  • Knowledge of intermediate Excel: Pivot table, formulas, graphs.
  • Experience in fieldwork and survey implementation
  • Knowledge of basic calculus and logics
  • Good understanding of the Rwanda agricultural context
  • Good communication and documentation skills
  • Comfortable using data collection tools(Kobo, CommCare, etc), and attention to details.
  • Problem solver, open to feedback
