Accounting Coordinator

About the Role
Primarily responsible for coordination tasks; supports sub-projects. May independently manage projects of small scope and low complexity.
Responsibilities
Classification of financial transactions
- Monthly Payroll journal vouchers upload into accounting system
- Month -end adjusting journal vouchers entries upload into accounting system
- Process all non farmer related accounts receivable invoices posting in accounting system
- Monthly prepayment expenses amortization process management
- Monthly BVA transactions alignment in collaboration with country finance advisory service representatives
General Ledger accounts reconciliations
- Perform weekly reconciliation of collections mobile money and bank accounts reconciliation
- Perform monthly payroll bank accounts reconciliation
- Perform monthly accounts payable and prepaid balances reconciliations
- Perform monthly basic P&L reconciliation including rentals and other revenues
Financial reporting
- Support internal and external audits process with providing valid and complete documentation based on audit samples

Qualifications
Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:
- Knowledge: Bookkeeping knowledge
- Skills:
- Technical: Data analysis skills (i.e. Google Sheets, Excel, Accounting software like SAP)
- Soft skills: Communication, interpersonal, organizational, problem solving, team building
