About the Role
A Tree Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the delivery of One Acre Fund’s Tree program across designated sites while driving impact, financial sustainability and customer service through the sites that they manage. A Tree Supervisor will manage 11-25 sites
Responsibilities
- Seedling Cultivation: Supervise the construction of dedicated nurseries by outgrowers. Prepare and execute an input distribution plan, ensuring all outgrowers get their production inputs on time and in form. Create work plans for the Outgrowers to hit their seed pre-treatment, socket filling and sowing KPIs in time and form. Notify the Tree Coordinator of any variances while also presenting improvement solutions.
- Data Reporting & Data Collection: Steward team KPIs and quality control measures diligently, and communicate risks and challenges immediately to the Tree Coordinator, to ensure that project activities meet the established standards and that activities are adjusted accordingly to meet targets
- Seedling Marketing, Distribution & Training: Achieves annual adoption goals by overseeing the execution of marketing, enrollment and distribution strategies in 11 - 25 sites.
- Team support: Coordinate team meetings and own the elaboration of meeting agendas and work plans for your team members, and follow up on updates from previous meetings in the performance management tracker.
- Financial Sustainability: In all areas of management, demonstrate mindfulness of cost and champion cost controls.
- District Culture & DEI: Manages and motivates the Tree Officers/Outgrowers/Temp Staff in a way that contributes to psychological safety and strong customer service

Qualifications
Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:
- 3+ years of experience in agroforestry, forestry, or a related field.
- Knowledge of agroforestry principles, practices, and technologies.
- Ability to operate and maintain forestry equipment and tools.
- Familiarity with geographic information systems (GIS) and mapping technologies.
- Certification in first aid and CPR.
