ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP

ONE is looking for a Volunteer Engagement Assistant (Intern) to join the Campaigns and Citizen Mobilization team in the France office, based in Paris. The internship will start in early April 2026 and will last for five months.

The Campaigns team is composed of a Campaigns Officer, a Senior Campaigns Manager, and a Social Media Intern.

Please note that this internship will mainly be in French.

Role and Key Responsibilities   

  • Supporting the management and coordination of ONE’s volunteer program (Youth Ambassadors):
    project management and coordination of specific actions (online or in person), creating working documents and action toolkits, and contributing to maintaining strong group engagement.
  • Regular communication with volunteers: writing a weekly newsletter, sending reminders, following up with working groups, preparing the monthly meeting, and handling any other relevant communications.
  • Events and logistics: organizing the monthly meeting, coordinating our participation in festivals and political summer schools, and supporting the organization of advocacy days at the French National Assembly.
  • Reporting: tracking volunteer activities in an internal database, measuring impact, and analyzing data.
  • Monitoring political developments in order to propose relevant and timely actions for volunteers.
  • Coordinate with other European program managers: attending weekly meetings, proposing and participating in joint campaigns and training sessions.
  • Any other relevant tasks requested by the Campaigns Officer.

Profile and Skills

  • Higher education in International Relations, Political Science, or Communication.
  • A first experience in project management or volunteer/community management would be appreciated. 
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. You are resourceful and have strong problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to develop and manage a project from conception to completion.
  • Proactive and capable of proposing creative and high-impact mobilization actions to support ONE’s mission.
  • Dynamic, with strong interpersonal skills when interacting with both volunteers and partners.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • This role is in French, but a good level of English is essential, as we regularly collaborate with international teams.
  • Above all, you have a genuine interest in international development and solidarity, and a desire to contribute to building a more just world.

Compensation: €1,200 net per month, depending on the number of hours worked.
