ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY
ONE is looking for a Volunteer Mobilization Assistant intern to work within the “Campaigns and Citizen Mobilization” team at the France office, based in Paris. The internship is set to start in September 2026 and will last 5 months.
The Campaigns team consists of a Campaigns Manager (currently on maternity leave until January), a Campaigns Officer, and a Digital Communications and Influence Assistant (intern).
Role and Key Responsibilities
- Coordination of ONE’s volunteer program (Youth Ambassadors): oversee projects and punctual actions (online or on the ground), create working documents and action toolkits, help maintain a sense of community...
- Regular communication with volunteers: draft a weekly newsletter, send reminders, follow up with working groups, and any other relevant communication.
- Events and logistics: organize the monthly meeting, coordinate our participation in external events, coordinate and organize Advocacy Days at the National Assembly, the end-of-year event, and the kick-off weekend for the 2027 cohort...
- Recruitment: support the Campaigns Officer in drafting and disseminating the call for applications, help conduct interviews and select candidates for the 2027 cohort.
- External communication: contribute to the development and coordination of digital content co-produced with our volunteers (articles, opinion pieces, videos, Instagram Live sessions, newsletters, etc.)
- Reporting: log volunteer activities in an internal tracker, measure impact and analyze data.
- Monitor political news to suggest relevant and targeted actions for volunteers.
- Support the Campaigns Officer in engaging our volunteers in our mobilization efforts leading up to the 2027 presidential election.
- Coordinate with other program managers at the European level: attend weekly meetings, contribute to joint initiatives and training sessions, etc.
- Any other relevant tasks requested by the Campaigns Officer.
Profile and Skills
- Studies in International Relations, Political Science, or Communication.
- Previous experience in project management or managing a volunteer community is a plus.
- You are thorough, self-reliant, resourceful, and have strong problem-solving skills.
- You are capable of developing and overseeing a project from conception through completion.
- You have excellent organizational skills and are able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- You are proactive and can suggest creative, high-impact engagement initiatives to support ONE’s mission.
- You are a dynamic person with strong interpersonal skills, both with volunteers and partners.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- You have strong communication skills, both in writing (clear, concise, and high-quality writing) and verbally.
- A good level of English is essential: we have regular exchanges with our teams at the international level.
- Above all, you have a genuine interest in international solidarity and a desire to help build a more just world.
