Associate Software Backend Engineer, Cymetrics

Responsibilities
- Develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve backend services, ensuring system stability and performance.
- Participate in designing system architecture and understanding the software development lifecycle.
- Perform regular code reviews to maintain high-quality standards and ensure that business requirements are consistently met.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience in backend development (preferably in Java), experience in RESTful API development using the Spiring Boot framework.
- Good understanding of basic algorithms, data structures, and database (RDB) operations.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Basic understanding of unit testing and testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit).
- Basic knowledge of SOLID principles, design patterns, microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes is preferred.
- Good communication skills.
Interview Process
- Phone interview: 0.5-1 hour
- Selection Test: 2 hours
- Onsite Interview: 2-2.5 hours, onsite coding test & meet with hiring managers
