About the Position
OneEnergy Renewables is seeking a part-time Associate, Real Estate Operations. We develop large-scale solar energy sites where the energy market dynamics, grid interconnection, and land permitting requirements are often evolving. This role consists of supporting the development team to identify and secure optimal sites which adds viable, competitive solar sites to our pipeline. The Associate, Real Estate Operations works with internal teams including legal counsel and due diligence.
Responsibilities:
● Supporting all real estate transactions, including land leases and purchases.
● Support project onboarding into internal information systems.
● Maintaining real estate records and contribute to the improved efficiency and efficacy of real estate document management.
● Providing support with recording legal documents.
● Communicating the status of real estate matters to internal partners.
● Assisting with identification and acquisition of greenfield solar energy sites.
● Supporting outreach efforts to prospective landowner partners, including supporting direct mailing campaigns, printing and hand addressing personalized outreach to landowners, identifying contact information, and processing data within internal systems.
Requirements:
● 1(+) year of experience working in renewable energy, real estate, sales, or law is preferred.
● Experience in Microsoft Office/Office 365, Google Apps, Salesforce, and database management.
● Experience with land and title matters is preferred.
● Experience with project management is preferred.
● Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
● Knowledge of or experience with real estate contracts and documents.
● Organizational capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
● Proven ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable deliverables to internal and external stakeholders.
● Self-motivated with proven ability to take ownership, initiative, and accountability.
● Demonstrated ability to build relationships and interface effectively with cross-functional employee groups and external stakeholders
● Solid problem-solving skills with emphasis on attention to detail.
