PHARMACIST IN CHARGE

Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist In-Charge for our home infusion pharmacy. This role is crucial in ensuring the safe and effective management of pharmacy operations, maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations, and delivering high-quality care to our patients. The successful candidate will lead the pharmacy team and collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the home infusion pharmacy, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Manage, train, and mentor pharmacy staff to ensure high performance and professional growth.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers to develop and implement personalized patient care plans.
• Ensure accurate preparation, dispensing, and documentation of medications and infusion therapies.
• Maintain inventory control and ensure the availability of necessary medications and supplies.
• Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to enhance patient safety and service quality.
• Develop and enforce policies and procedures for efficient pharmacy operations.
• Provide expert consultation on medication therapy management to healthcare team members and patients.

Required Skills:

• Valid and active pharmacist license in the state of operation.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a pharmacy, with at least 1 year in a home infusion setting.
• Strong understanding of home infusion therapy and related technologies.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in pharmacy software systems and electronic medical records.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Compensation: Pay rate of $70-$75 per hour.
