Demand Planner
About OneSkin
#BeLimitless with OneSkin
Come redefine the future of aging with us. We're a longevity company. Everything we do, we do to help people age at the best version of themselves.
Our founding team is made up of 4 PhDs and entrepreneurial minds on a mission to transform the way we think about skin and aging. As the pioneers of skin health and longevity, we create science-based, clinically effective products to optimize skin and body health and provide support for people at every step of their “growing limitless” journey. Our longevity approach targets the root causes of aging using a proprietary peptide designed to decrease the accumulation of aged (senescent cells) in the skin -- and is the first product proven to reduce skin biological age in humans.
We never settle and continually challenge existing treatments and methodologies to advance the frontier of skin science. As we help our customers grow limitless, we grow too -- by embracing individuality and differences, leading by example, and empowering ourselves and others with our passion for science, optimal health, and innovation.
We are limitless. It's our mantra. Our commitment to helping anybody and everybody committed to live life to the fullest regardless of their age.
About The Role
Location: Remote — CA or NY-Based Preferred
The Demand Planner owns the company’s demand signal. This role is responsible for building, maintaining, and continuously improving demand forecasts across channels and SKUs, translating commercial inputs into clear, data‑driven plans that inform inventory strategy and supply execution.
This role partners closely with Product, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to create a single source of truth for demand expectations and to proactively identify risks and scenarios as the business scales.
Success in this role is measured by the quality, clarity, and timeliness of demand insights and risk visibility — not by perfect forecast accuracy, particularly in a high-growth, early-stage environment.
Who You Are
- Data-driven strategist who is passionate about turning demand signals into actionable insights that drive business growth
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with comfort working with large datasets and forecasting tools (SQL, Python, Tableau, etc.)
- Collaborative mindset who thrives in cross-functional environments and enjoys building strong relationships across Product, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain
- Proactive problem-solver who is curious, asks great questions, and isn’t satisfied until they fully understand the “why” behind the numbers
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Passionate about making data accessible and actionable, and excited to help teams make informed decisions based on clear, compelling forecasts
What You'll Do
-
Demand Forecasting & Signal Ownership
- Own weekly, monthly, and quarterly demand forecasts across all SKUs and channels (DTC, subscriptions, wholesale, marketplaces).
- Build and maintain forecast models incorporating historical performance, seasonality, promotions, launches, and growth initiatives.
- Translate product roadmap and marketing plans into structured demand scenarios (base / upside / downside).
- Own forecast accuracy metrics (MAPE, bias, trend) and drive continuous improvement.
Cross‑Functional Planning
- Partner with Product to translate roadmap timing, lifecycle expectations, and adoption assumptions into structured demand scenarios.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Growth to model campaign impact and demand volatility.
- Partner with Finance to align forecasts with budgeting, cash planning, and inventory risk thresholds.
Inventory Outlook & Risk Management
- Provide forward‑looking inventory outlooks and coverage analysis to support decision‑making.
- Surface early warnings on potential stock‑outs, excess, or imbalance by SKU and channel.
- Model tradeoffs between service level, growth, and working capital.
Process, Reporting & Tools
- Build and maintain demand planning dashboards and reporting cadences.
- Document assumptions, methodologies, and planning logic for transparency and scale.
- Support evaluation and implementation of planning tools as the company matures.
What You Bring
- 6–8+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, analytics, or supply chain planning.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skill set; advanced Excel / Google Sheets and BI tools required.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Spherecast, Fulfill.io) and planning tools (e.g., Forecast Pro, Anaplan, Datarails).
- Experience partnering cross‑functionally with Product, Marketing, Finance, and Operations.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and building structure in a fast‑growth environment.
- Experience in CPG, beauty, wellness, or physical‑product startups strongly preferred.
