Summary

OneStream is looking for a Legal Compliance Manager to serve as a key partner to our Legal and Security teams. This role will be responsible for reviewing customer security, privacy, and compliance requirements, supporting contract negotiations, responding to due diligence requests, and helping defend OneStream's standard security and compliance positions.

Successful candidates will have experience interpreting compliance obligations, redlining contract language, assessing customer requests against internal standards, and articulating security and privacy controls in a clear, business-focused manner. Experience with SaaS security, audit and compliance programs, privacy requirements, and customer-facing contract negotiations is highly desirable.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Serve as a Legal Compliance Manager, working with the OneStream Legal, Compliance and Risk organization, as well as stakeholders across the company.
Explaining external compliance requirements to stakeholders.
Reviewing any new contracts or internal business proposals for compliance, security, and privacy considerations.
Creates and maintains a comprehensive compliance program using best practices to anticipate legal challenges and mitigate risks.
Arranges for the use of compliance tools as appropriate.
Monitor, track, and keep abreast of all (federal, state, local, and international) proposed, pending, and existing laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to OneStream.
Partner with key business owners to validate policies, procedures, and processes are developed, designed and implemented in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines.
Identify emerging risks for new corporate initiatives, including appropriate recommendations.
Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues.
Assist in acquisition due diligence and potential remediation/integration activities after acquisition.
Assist with all other compliance functions as needed, including but not limited to those relating to commercial transactions.
Assist with customer and third-party due diligence requests.
Assist with the review of new vendors and assessing compliance requirements.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree relating to compliance, information assurance, or related field, or relevant work experience.
3-5 years relevant experience in compliance, contract management, or similar role.

Preferred Education and Experience

Preferred experience at a technology company.
Compliance related certifications (e.g. IAPP certifications for privacy and AI).

Total compensation is based on experience, skills, and location using objective, job-related criteria. Additional variable compensation and benefits may apply.

Gross annual base salary

$86,000 - $112,000 USD
