The Challenge
OneTrust’s marketing team is focused on innovation and providing a best in class web experience. We’re looking for an experienced AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) Architect to help us design and implement solutions on Onetrust.com. This person must be well verses in AEM best practices, and know how to solution with reliability and maintainability in mind. They will be accountable for translating complex business needs into scalable solutions, with the ultimate goal of providing the best customer experience on our web properties.
Your Mission
- Act as a liaison between the business and the development teams, collecting requirements and creating solution design that allows the development team to deliver efficiently.
- Develop modern user experiences for customer-facing web properties that are progressive and responsive
- Build experiences across a broad range of core technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Java
- Take initiative to come up with solutions for multiple problems, such as development, risk, scope/budget, security, and other challenges

- Someone who understands design and systems, but can speak to the business – able to jump from a conversation about business strategy to building solution documentation that our development team can action
- Curious – you make a conscious effort to understand the business or keep-up to date on new trends and technologies
Your experience includes:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Web Development, Computer Science or equivalent experience
- A strong Java/J2EE background in AEM back-end development (preferably Java 11)
- 3+ years of development experience with AEM as a Cloud Service, including at least 1-2 full cycle AEMaaCS projects for high-volume, content heavy web sites or applications
- 5+ years of strong web content management experience with AEM
- Experience with integrating AEMaaCS/AEM 6.3+ with other products and vendors via APIs and other standard methodologies
- Experience with Java Content Repository (API) suite, Sling web framework and Apache Felix OSGi framework, and DAM
- Experience gathering complex requirements from multiple stakeholder groups and translating into architecture and development tasks
- Experience with configuration planning, testing, and change management
- Knowledge of common software design patterns
- Knowledge of best practices around secure software development
- Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e.g. jQuery, Grunt, Bootstrap), and CSS preprocessing platforms (SASS)
- Strong familiarity in coding and testing across multiple devices and browsers
- Management of security updates and general website maintenance across all client platforms
- Basic server management and devops experience across multiple environments (e.g. dev/staging/production), including AEM deployment pipelines and external tools like Jenkins and Github/Bitbucket
- Ability to accurately estimate and plan tasks within an agile development/release cycle
- Entrepreneurial skills to excel in a complex and rapidly evolving environment
For California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, and Washington-based candidates: the annual base pay range for this role is listed below. Within this range, individual pay is determined by several factors, including location, job-related skills, work experience, and relevant education and/or training. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, equity, and/or commissions, as well as benefits.
Salary Range
$139,050 - $208,575 USD
