Job Description
OneTrust is looking for a hands-on Digital CX Developer to implement, customize, and optimize features across our customer portal and community platform. As a key technical resource within the DCX team, you’ll bring customer journeys to life through backend configuration, integrations, and automation, empowering a seamless, self-service experience at scale.
This role bridges engineering, digital strategy, and customer enablement. You’ll work closely with UX, Ops, and Product teams to rapidly deploy platform enhancements and backend improvements that fuel adoption and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Development & Implementation

Build, configure, and maintain features and integrations in the digital platforms.

Develop, test, and document solutions within Salesforce using both declarative and coded functionality

Maintain existing Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, and Lightning Web Components (LWCs) across the Salesforce platform

Create new Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, and LWCs across the Salesforce platform
-
Overseeing the end-to-end architecture of the Salesforce Platform {Salesforce Service Cloud, Experience Cloud (Portals), } and other integrations.

Evaluate synchronous and asynchronous development techniques and choose the correct technology based on business requirements and system constraints

Participate in training team members in technical best practices

Assist in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving defects encountered during various stages of project delivery, including during the deployment and implementation of the solution in production environments

Ability to use development tools like VScode, Salesforce CLI, Git, GitLab etc..

Implement workflow logic, APIs, authentication protocols, and back-end processes
-
Customize platform components and third-party tools to support evolving digital needs

Troubleshoot issues and ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of digital platforms
Platform Operations & Automation

Support deployment of chatbot, AI search, knowledge base, and user routing logic

Build dashboards and data flows to enable personalized customer experiences

Partner with IT and vendors to manage updates, upgrades, and technical support
Collaboration & Innovation
-
Work cross-functionally with UX, Product, and Ops to align development with business goals
-
Recommend technical improvements to streamline processes and remove friction
-
Participate in roadmap planning and contribute to solution design for new capabilities

Participate in the planning and analysis of requirements for system enhancements, translating requirements into well-architected solutions that best use the Salesforce platform and products, testing, and deployment

Provide level of effort estimates for proposed solutions along with the benefits and risks to a solution's feasibility and functionality
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent and applicable work experience
-
3+ years of experience in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning development, configuration, testing, and deployment, platform development, backend configuration, or system integration
-
2+ years of experience integrating Salesforce with third party application.

In-depth knowledge of REST APIs and experience building integrations with Salesforce

Possess Valid Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification required.

Knowledge on package management/scratch org setup

Deep understanding of Salesforce data sharing and visibility, identity and access management
-
Good to have experience in web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, APIs, JSON, etc.)

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to scalability and maintainability.

Familiarity with automation tools, customer portals, or support platforms is a plus
