Marketing Intern (Fall, 2025)

OneVest is looking for a student to join our Marketing team for a 4-month internship. The ideal candidate must have a keen interest in brand building, content creation, product marketing, social media and working in a startup environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a student to gain real world experience and help build the presence of our brand. This opportunity is open to students who are currently enrolled, and or returning to school following this internship.

What you'll be doing:

• As part of the Marketing team, this role will be supporting the day to day activities along with key projects and initiatives
• Activities will include, but are not limited to sales team support of prospects and list management
• Taking minutes and to dos from key meetings and ensuring that next steps are captured with stakeholders
• Supporting  the marketing team in their development and execution of marketing campaigns, including digital, search, social media, and content marketing
• Support the marketing team with event planning and social posts 
• Assist with marketing and sales materials upkeep (i.e. decks, product sheets and other promotional items)
• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences and competitor activities (scrapping the internet and social media)
• Updating and monitoring the KPI tracking data and MQLS (i.e. website traffic, social media followers, impressions, contact forms, event outreach).
• Assist with social media accounts, leveraging a content calendar to obtain the copy and visuals to post on regular cadence 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support other marketing and business development initiatives as needed

Who we're looking for:

• You’re currently enrolled in your 3rd or 4th pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or other related fields
• Keen interest in fintech and wealth management
• Technology savvy 
• Strong communication skills (especially written) and understanding of social media best practices
• Strong understanding of utilizing Microsoft and Google Suites (i.e. excel, powerpoint, word, google sheets, google slides, google sheets)
• Understanding and interest in SEO/SEM and content marketing
• Self-motivated, independent, organized and proactive; responsive, flexible and adaptable when working across multiple teams
• Ability to think critically and work autonomously in a variety of business environments
• Previous Intern experience is an asset

Please note this is a hybrid position with a mandatory 3 days per week requirement in our Toronto office
