We are looking for a talented Senior CloudOps Engineer to play a crucial role in managing and scaling our cloud-based systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, automation, and continuous delivery. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our cloud environments, with a particular focus on AWS. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues, implementing best practices, and driving operational excellence.

What you’ll do:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure and networking, primarily on AWS.
• Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform to automate provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud resources.
• Implement and manage robust CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid and reliable deployment of applications and infrastructure changes.
• Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, and security, responding to incidents and alerts as needed.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure applications are designed for cloud-native deployment and operational efficiency.
• Optimize cloud resource utilization and costs through effective management and automation.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and policies within the cloud infrastructure.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems.
• Document infrastructure, processes, and procedures.

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in a Cloud Operations, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering role.
• Extensive experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, and networking.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for managing complex cloud environments.
• Strong expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions).
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, Load Balancing).
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Scripting proficiency in languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Bonus: AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
