Director, Product - Digital Onboarding

As the Director, Product - Digital Onboarding, you will play a key leadership role in shaping and executing OneVest’s product strategy for its digital onboarding product. The digital onboarding squad is responsible for creating end to end “digital” experiences for key operational transactions, account opening, account maintenance, money movement and transfer of assets. You will be responsible for guiding the product roadmap, leading a team, and delivering innovative, high-impact solutions across our wealth management platform. Working closely with the engineering, design and marketing functions, you will ensure the successful delivery and adoption of customer-centric products that drive OneVest’s growth and market differentiation.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a focused product strategy and roadmap for OneVest’s digital onboarding experience, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission, regulatory requirements, and long-term business objectives;
  • Define and prioritize onboarding features and flows based on user research, behavioral analytics, compliance needs, customer feedback, and market trends;
  • Own the full lifecycle of the digital onboarding product from discovery, validation, and design to development, testing, rollout, and continuous iteration;
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, compliance, operations, and customer-facing teams to deliver a seamless and intuitive onboarding experience that drives conversion and customer satisfaction;
  • Champion user-centric thinking while ensuring onboarding solutions remain scalable, compliant, and secure;
  • Implement and refine product development practices to support rapid learning and high-quality execution, ensuring timelines and stakeholder expectations are met;
  • Establish KPIs and measurement frameworks to monitor onboarding funnel performance, identify friction points, and drive continuous improvement;
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, competitor onboarding flows, and evolving regulatory landscapes across Canada and the U.S.;
  • Serve as the voice of the user, engaging regularly with customers and internal stakeholders to validate onboarding improvements and inform future enhancements.

Your Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8-10+ years of product management experience, with a focus on client-facing digital products;
  • Deep knowledge of the wealth management or financial services industry, including investment management, retirement planning, digital onboarding and tax optimization;
  • Proven success in launching and scaling SaaS products in high-growth environments;
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to inform product decisions and prioritization;
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and work effectively across functions;
  • Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with modern product development tools and methodologies;
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced setting;
  • A passion for delivering seamless onboarding journeys that enhance user trust, reduce time to activation, and contribute to long-term customer success.
