Onnit is seeking an experienced Sr. Manager of E-commerce to take ownership of two separate Shopify sites — one focused on Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) customers and another dedicated to our B2B/Wholesale partners.
This role is responsible for driving the overall health, performance, and growth of both sites, ensuring each delivers a best in class experience tailored to its unique audience. You’ll work cross-functionally with developers, marketing, brand, and operations teams to execute improvements, optimizations, and initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Website Ownership: Manage and optimize the performance of two distinct Shopify storefronts — one DTC and one B2B — ensuring seamless customer journeys, fast site speed, and high conversion rates.
- Site Strategy & Optimization: Develop tailored strategies for each site based on audience needs and business goals, focusing on UX/UI, merchandising, CRO (conversion rate optimization), and retention.
- Project & Development Management: Scope and manage site updates, feature developments, app integrations, and platform enhancements in partnership with external and internal developers.
- Content & Merchandising: Oversee product setup, collection structure, site navigation, promotions, and merchandising across both sites to ensure brand consistency and optimal customer experience.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track, analyze, and report key KPIs (traffic, conversion rates, AOV, bounce rates, etc.) for both sites, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- App & Tech Stack Management: Own the Shopify app ecosystem, identifying, implementing, and optimizing third-party solutions as needed to enhance functionality and performance.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Sales, Brand, and Operations to align site initiatives with larger company goals, campaigns, and product launches.
- Customer Journey Excellence: Ensure every touchpoint — from landing pages to checkout flows — is optimized for both consumer and wholesale audiences.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5-7+ years of experience managing Shopify or Shopify Plus sites (experience with multiple stores is highly preferred).
- Deep understanding of e-commerce best practices, UX, CRO, and digital merchandising.
- Strong experience working with or overseeing Shopify development projects; familiarity with scoping technical requirements.
- Foundational understanding of Shopify’s Liquid templating language (ability to troubleshoot or collaborate effectively with developers).
- Experience with Shopify CMS, Google Analytics, and SEO principles.
- Skilled in project management with the ability to prioritize multiple ongoing projects.
- Data-driven approach with strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Direct experience managing both DTC and B2B e-commerce storefronts.
- Hands-on experience with Liquid, HTML/CSS (preferred but not required).
- Background in health, wellness, fitness, or lifestyle brands is a plus.
