We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Copywriter with experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry to join ONNIT’s dynamic marketing team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to craft the voice of a powerhouse brand. You will be responsible for creating compelling, on-brand copy that drives consumer engagement, communicates product benefits, and supports brand strategy across a variety of channels, including digital (web and email), advertising, packaging, and social media. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Develop compelling copy for advertising campaigns, email and digital marketing, product packaging, point-of-sale materials, and social media content. 
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, and brand teams to understand target audiences and ensure copy aligns with business objectives and brand voice. 
  • Translate technical product information into clear, engaging language that resonates with consumers. 
  • Write and edit content for email marketing, landing pages, paid ads, video scripts, and social. 
  • Ensure consistency in brand messaging and tone across all consumer touchpoints. 
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform copy strategy. 
  • Optimize copy for SEO and digital performance where applicable. 
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines without sacrificing quality. 

 

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Familiarity with supplements, food & beverage, beauty, household, or personal care product categories. 
  • Basic knowledge of UX writing, A/B testing, or data-driven content optimization. 
  • Understanding of regulatory considerations for product labeling and claims. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field. 
  • 3+ years of copywriting experience, preferably in the CPG industry or a related consumer-focused sector. 
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of copywriting work, including digital content and advertising. 
  • Deep understanding of consumer behavior, brand positioning, and retail trends. 
  • Excellent grammar, editing, and proofreading skills. 
  • Proficiency with digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., CMS, email marketing, SEO tools) is a plus. 
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with cross-functional teams.
