Overview

The Senior Manager, Ecommerce, reporting to the Director of Ecommerce & Retention, owns the storefront. Every product page, every promotion, every pixel of the on-site experience that converts a visitor into a buyer or a subscriber into a loyalist runs through this role. The site is not a static asset. It is the primary revenue engine for the brand, and this person keeps it sharp, fast, and performing.

This is not a strategy-only seat. This is an operator role for someone who lives inside Shopify Plus, thinks in conversion rates, and treats every site update like it matters because it does. You will manage technology implementations, drive CRO, coordinate with dev resources and agency partners, and ensure nothing goes live that is not right.

The right person is a builder. Data-led and growth-minded. Equal parts AI enthusiast and skeptic, always looking for what actually moves the needle.

What You Own

Storefront Operations & Merchandising The Shopify Plus storefront, end-to-end. Product setup, collection curation, site content, banners, promotions, and discount codes. If it is on the site, it is yours. Accuracy, speed, and brand consistency are the baseline.

On-Site Subscription Experience Own how subscriptions show up across the site. Product detail pages, checkout flow, subscription widgets, and the customer account portal. Partner with the Retention team to ensure the on-site experience supports subscription growth and delivers a seamless subscriber journey.

Conversion Rate Optimization Continuous improvement of the on-site experience. Testing, iterating, and optimizing across UX, merchandising, and the customer journey. Conversion rate, AOV, and repeat purchase behavior are the metrics that tell you whether the work is landing.

Project Management & Tech Stack Ecommerce technology projects, scoped and managed end-to-end in Jira. Timelines, milestones, vendor coordination, and direct collaboration with internal and external development resources. Current priorities include the loyalty program replatform and other platform implementations. You also own the Shopify app ecosystem, evaluating and optimizing third-party solutions that enhance site functionality. Stay current on platform enhancements, emerging tools, and industry best practices to inform what comes next.

Quality Assurance The final line of defense. Site, emails, SMS, new features, pre-launch and post-launch. Broken links, display errors, checkout issues, mobile responsiveness. Nothing ships without your sign-off.

Analytics & Reporting Ecommerce and site performance metrics via Shopify Analytics, Google Analytics, and internal tools. Data pulled cleanly, insights delivered clearly, decisions informed quickly.

Cross-Functional Collaboration The point of contact for website and ecommerce operations across the internal teams and external agencies. You connect the work, align the timelines, and keep things moving.

Required Experience

  • 5 to 7 years in DTC ecommerce operations
  • At least 3 years hands-on managing a Shopify Plus storefront
  • Direct experience configuring and operating a subscription platform within the Shopify Plus ecosystem

  • Foundational understanding of SEO best practices for ecommerce

Required Skills

  • Comfortable executing directly in Shopify Plus on a daily basis with strong familiarity across the ecosystem
  • Analytical mindset with fluency in Google Analytics and other reporting tools
  • Rigorous approach to QA and site testing
  • Strong project management instincts with the ability to run multiple initiatives independently
  • Clear communicator who coordinates effectively across internal teams and external vendors
  • Identifies issues and opportunities before they become problems or missed chances

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the wellness, vitamins, or supplements industry
  • Experience with A/B testing or dedicated CRO tools
  • Intermediate understanding of SEO best practices for ecommerce
  • Experience managing technology migrations or platform implementations

Classification of protected categories is as follows:

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
