As the Senior Lead - Transformation Project Manager, AMER role, you will lead complex, end-to-end projects focused on our distribution and logistics transformation in the Americas, ensuring our supply chain scales efficiently and sustainably. Your work directly drives operational excellence and resilience across the region, connecting innovative logistical systems to On's long-term growth journey. Reporting to the Senior Director - Global Supply Chain, Distribution & Logistics Transformation on the Global Supply Chain Transformation team, you will support the Americas region by building a highly scalable, cost-effective third-party logistics (3PL) network.

 

Your Mission

  • Build and execute detailed project plans and trackers, providing operational reporting and visibility for cross-functional strategic projects across the Distribution & Logistics portfolio for the Americas
  • Manage multiple projects and strategic priorities at once across different locations within the Americas region
  • Organize and lead regular meetings with diverse stakeholders, including supply chain, operations, finance, IT, and commercial teams, to drive alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables
  • Ensure meetings are structured to surface key issues, drive consensus, and support timely decision-making across cross-functional teams
  • Own the calendar, agendas, and follow-up actions for recurring project touchpoints, ensuring accountability and maintaining momentum throughout the project lifecycle
  • Conduct root cause analysis and provide actionable recommendations to leadership for continuous improvement within distribution and logistics operations, translating complex problems into actionable solutions
  • Understand and evaluate strategic project dependencies, exercising good judgment on when and how to evaluate risks and recommendations at the relevant level to mitigate risks
  • Partner closely with IT and business resources to develop and automate reporting and support business processes, driving updates to existing reports to meet changing business needs
  • Support the creation of regular project updates and steering committee materials, clearly articulating project status and critical path to success
  • Participate in business case creation for key strategic initiatives, ensuring all decisions are supported by rigorous analysis
  • Partner closely with external business partners to build robust and coherent project governance that is integrated into On ways of working and overall project management
  • Establish strong cross-functional relationships with Inventory Management, Inbound/Outbound Logistics, Allocation, Order to Cash, and Distribution Center Management to ensure project success

 

Your Story

  • You bring 7+ years of experience in project management, transformation, or analytical reporting within a high-growth distribution and logistics environment or a premium global retail brand operating across omnichannel networks
  • You are adept at managing complexity, making sense of high-quantity, sometimes contradictory information to solve problems effectively, and proactively identifying underlying issues to deliver solutions
  • You are comfortable making decisions with input from others, prioritizing work autonomously, and providing thoughtful recommendations even when facing ambiguity
  • You optimize work processes, continuously seeking ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness in how things get done, from small tweaks to reengineering, always driving towards scalable improvements
  • You navigate uncertainty effectively, operating productively even when the way forward is not entirely clear, and making mindful decisions despite ambiguity, embracing new challenges and learning from both successes and failures
  • You demonstrate a self-starter mindset, proactively seeking business optimization and cost savings, and building data-driven business cases to support your recommendations
  • You possess strong knowledge of best practices within Project Management and have exposure and experience with ERP systems, with knowledge and exposure to WMS, TMS, or OMS systems considered a clear asset

We are the strategic drivers of change, partnering with stakeholders across the company to implement new standards, best practices, and innovative technologies that will transform how we operate. For a role based in our New York City office: Typical cash compensation range for this position inclusive of base + bonus + equity = $150,000-$190,000. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate including experience, industry knowledge, qualifications, skill set, and location.
