⏰ Monday – Friday (37.5 hours per week - hybrid)  

💰 £29,500 up to £35,000 (DOE) + Discretionary Company Bonus Scheme

🙌 The Role & Team 

About The Role
The role of a Broker & Key Accounts Sales Support will be to remotely support the National Broker Manager and National Key Account Manager in the delivery of their sales and commercial growth targets.

You will be expected to proactively engage with the network of brokers/key accounts to increase finance applications and increase their conversion to written business. The role will deliver engaging and effective interactions with this portfolio of accounts, proactively and reactively reviewing proposal activity through the sales funnel. 

This role requires a strong relationship builder with proven experience in remote / telephone business development environment as you will directly manage a small portfolio.  The role will be the main point of contact for broker and key accounts maximising each opportunity and driving business growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Remotely account manage a small portfolio of brokers, ensuring delivery of associated target.
  • Support the National Broker Manager/National key account manager by resolving queries that are generated from the broker and key account channels
  • Answer the main line & respond to queries via chatter, WhatsApp and email
  • Create monthly reviews for brokers and key accounts to enable the National Broker Manager and National Key Account Manager to conduct effective and productive review meetings
  • Respond to broker and key account requests for information or help, liaising with the National Broker Manager and National Key Account Manager as required
  • Monitor proposal pipelines & keep these updated with current position and whether the business is proceeding. 
  • Proactively review proposals that are conditioned and actively engage with broker and key accounts to convert these proposals to written business
  • Update appropriate systems with notes and amendments where necessary, recording information accurately in line with the operational policies
  • Build positive relationships with broker and key accounts professionally, personably and demonstrate the company values and behaviours
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant procedures and polices
  • Gather and provide dealer feedback to LP Ops, identifying any common friction points that impact customer outcomes
  • Review processes periodically and when required, working with internal stakeholders to ensure efficiency and continuous improvements.

Knowledge, experience, skills, other attributes

  • Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external business partners
  • Ability to use systems, ie, salesforce, tableau effectively to create account management reports
  • Working knowledge of underwriting systems, criteria and policy and a good understanding of the product, procedure and services provided by Oodle Car Finance
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Financial services background preferred with an understanding of the consumer duty requirements, AML/KYC and responsible lending
  • Ability to handle and overcome objections
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts
  • Good understanding of the digital marketplace that exists within our industry.
