Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

We here at Licensed Behavior Analyst Professional Services, PLLC are on the hunt for a meticulous and proactive Authorizations Specialist to keep our clinical services moving without interruption. Your work directly enables our therapists and BCBAs to serve children and families — every authorization you secure matters

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Submit and track prior authorization requests to insurance companies daily
• Communicate with insurance providers to resolve authorization denials and delays
• Maintain accurate authorization records in the Bolt platform
• Alert clinical teams proactively of approvals, expirations, and renewals
• Meet daily submission targets and document all follow-up activity

SKILLS

• Direct experience submitting prior authorizations to insurance payers
• Knowledge of ABA, behavioral health, or pediatric therapy authorization processes
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage high-volume queues
• Excellent written and verbal communication with insurance payers
• Proficiency in EHR or practice management software
