JOB DESCRIPTION:
We here at Licensed Behavior Analyst Professional Services, PLLC are looking for a sharp and dedicated Billing Specialist to ensure our claims are submitted accurately and our revenue cycle stays healthy. Your precision directly supports the clinical mission — every clean claim you submit keeps our services running.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and submit accurate insurance claims for services rendered
- Confirm BCBA credentialing on all authorizations prior to claim submission
- Review claim denials and resubmit with appropriate corrections and documentation
- Reconcile billing records daily and maintain accurate claim status tracking
- Communicate with payers to resolve outstanding claim issues
SKILLS:
- Experience submitting insurance claims in a healthcare or ABA setting
- Knowledge of payer-specific billing requirements and CPT codes
- Experience working denials and resubmissions with measurable recovery rates
- Proficiency in billing platforms such as Tebra, Rethink, or CentralReach
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy under deadline pressure
