We are currently seeking a compassionate, motivated, and dependable Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our growing clinical team serving families across Long Island, NY.
Position Overview:
As an RBT, you will play a vital role in delivering one-on-one ABA therapy to children in home, school, and community settings. Working under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will help implement individualized treatment plans that promote skill development and positive behavior change. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about behavioral health, autism services, and early intervention, with clear pathways for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality 1:1 ABA therapy in home, school, and community environments
- Implement individualized treatment plans and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) with consistency
- Accurately collect and record session data, progress notes, and clinical documentation (within 24 hours) using the Rethink platform
- Monitor and track client progress through data collection systems
- Collaborate effectively with BCBAs, families, and caregivers
- Participate in onboarding, training, and ongoing supervision sessions
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (required)
- Minimum of 6 months experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities
- Strong understanding of ABA principles, behavior intervention strategies, and data collection
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative clinical team
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
