Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) — After-School, 1:1 In-Home

 

📍 Forest Hills, Queens 

🕓 Mon–Fri, 4:00–7:00 PM (15 hrs/week)

The client
A 14-year-old nonverbal male with autism, served in his home. He's engaged, energetic, and physically strong. His program includes communication building, daily-living skills, and behavior reduction.

The role
You'll run his ABA program 1:1 under BCBA supervision — implementing the behavior intervention plan, collecting data each session, and partnering with his family. The position involves personal care assistance and safe physical management of an adolescent male client, so this role is designated for a male provider.

What we're looking for
✅ Current RBT certification (required)
✅ Prior RBT experience — not a first placement
✅ Direct experience with autism; adolescent experience strongly preferred
✅ Ability to safely perform physical management techniques and assist with personal care
✅ Reliable, calm under pressure, consistent week to week
✅ Clear communicator with families and clinical staff
