About the Role

We’re looking for a senior level Pricing Analyst who’s excited to use data, analytics, and business judgment to shape pricing strategies that drive the company’s growth and profitability. You’ll play a key role in analyzing market dynamics, refining valuation models, and supporting pricing decisions for thousands of homes across the U.S.

This is a highly cross-functional role — you’ll partner closely with data science, finance, operations, and leadership to inform decisions that have real impact on the business.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Analyze Property Pricing and Risk: Assess individual homes for pricing decisions and risk evaluation, leveraging in-house tools and model outputs from the Pricing Technology teams, your expert validation and valuations will play a key role in the acquisition pricing process.
  • Develop Market Expertise: Gain in-depth knowledge of local market nuances to make informed pricing decisions and ensure homes are accurately and competitively priced.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Engage with various teams, including sales and homes teams, to ensure fair and accurate pricing of properties.
  • Special Projects: Participate in projects focused on enhancing pricing operations. Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to improve pricing models and tools.
  • Team Collaboration: Work as a cohesive unit with local management and the pricing team to drive pricing excellence.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field (advanced degree a plus).
  • 5+ years of experience in pricing, analytics, finance, consulting, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets; SQL experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with pricing strategy, forecasting, or financial modeling.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills — able to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and drive results.
  • Experience in real estate, financial services, or tech.
  • Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) or statistical software (e.g., R, Python).
  • Strong business acumen with a track record of influencing strategy through data.

 

The base salary range for this position is $86,400.00 - $108,000.00 annually, plus  RSUs and bonus plan. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on your qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We also offer a comprehensive package of benefits including unlimited PTO, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
