The Opportunity
In our accelerated growth journey and mission to Do Some Good® for animals and the planet, we are looking for a bold, data-savvy, and purpose-driven performance marketing leader to join us as Vice President of Growth Marketing. Reporting to the Chief Digital Officer, The Vice President of Growth Marketing will be the architect of our acquisition engine—owning full-funnel strategy, managing performance across key paid channels, and relentlessly optimizing for scale, efficiency, and impact. Key Responsibilities
Lead Growth Strategy & Optimize Performance
- Own and evolve Open Farm’s full-funnel acquisition strategy across CTV, paid social, search, affiliate, podcasts, direct mail, and emerging channels.
- Actively strategize, test, and optimize performance across channels—leveraging data, creative experimentation, and audience insights to unlock growth.
- Think creatively about tactics, funnel design, and messaging—ensuring tactical execution aligns with overarching strategy.
- Monitor and improve key KPIs (CAC, LTV, ROI), ensuring growth efforts support long-term profitability and scale.
- Use BI tools, data models, and automated reporting to guide budget allocation, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
- Champion a data-first culture with smart modeling, automation, forecasting, and performance reporting that powers efficient decision-making and scalable growth.
- Build a centralized repository of growth frameworks and performance data to drive team alignment and continuous improvement.
Tell the Story and Drive Brand Love
- Partner with Brand and Creative teams to develop compelling, full-funnel messaging that drives both brand love and customer acquisition.
- Lead the creation of high-performing direct response ads that align with our broader brand narrative and growth objectives.
- Collaborate with Brand to manage and optimize the performance media budget, ensuring alignment between storytelling and paid media performance.
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Finance, and Operations to ensure messaging consistency and support for long-term business goals
Inspire and Lead
- Manage a high-performing Growth Marketing team responsible for performance across CTV, paid social, search, podcasts, direct mail, affiliate, and emerging media channels.
- Coach and develop both in-house talent and agency partners, including a Growth Marketing Manager and teams across SEO, digital, and Amazon.
- Set clear KPIs and performance goals for each channel, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and optimization.
- Advocate for the customer in all decision-making—championing their experience in internal meetings and direct interactions.
- Build strong partnerships with key agencies, local collaborators, and cross-functional teams to drive aligned, scalable growth strategies.
What you bring to the table:
- 10+ years of high-impact growth marketing experience with a strong track record in direct-to-consumer businesses.
- Deep expertise in managing multi-channel campaigns across Meta, Google Ads, direct mail, podcasts, affiliate, and more—partnering effectively with both internal teams and external agencies.
- Advanced financial modeling and data analysis skills (Excel proficiency required)
- Strong business acumen and a clear understanding of functional roles within a fast-growing DTC environment.
- A bias for action, comfort with calculated risk, and a drive to exceed goals while keeping customer focus and brand integrity front and center.
- A collaborative mindset, positive attitude, and willingness to roll up your sleeves to support your team and the mission.

Hybrid Work
At Open Farm, we believe in the power of collaboration, meaningful connections, and enjoying our work together—furry friends included! That’s why we’ve adopted a structured hybrid approach that allows you the benefit of a reduced commute while still building strong workplace relationships. Currently, all employees are expected to be in the office two days per week at minimum, with Tuesday and Thursday as our anchor days. In addition to this, each month our Leadership team dedicates three consecutive days onsite to continue to foster alignment and connection across the team. During this time we expect everyone to join us in person to do the same. Please note: our hybrid approach may evolve over time as we adapt to the needs of our team and business.
