Role Overview
We are seeking a Supply Chain and Logistics Intern to join our Operations team for the term. This role is ideal for a student enrolled in a Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related program who is interested in gaining hands-on experience in supply chain and logistics operations within a fast-growing CPG company. The Supply Chain and Logistics Intern will work closely with the Logistics and Operations teams and will gain exposure to customer order management, inventory analysis, distribution center operations, and logistics performance reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist end-to-end customer order management from order processing to sales fulfillment.
- Liaise with customer warehouses to arrange and manage delivery appointments.
- Support customer claims management through the investigation and dispute process.
- Analyze distribution center inventory to minimize financial impact of short expiry dated stock.
- Create and maintain KPI reporting for internal logistics performance and monthly customer touchpoints.
- Provide vacation coverage support as needed for members of the Operations team.
- Support ad hoc tasks and projects for the Logistics team.
Qualifications
- Student in an Ontario registered Co-op program, preferably in a Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance or a related field
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
- A great attitude with an eagerness to learn new skills and tackle new challenges

At Open Farm, we believe in the power of collaboration, meaningful connections, and enjoying our work together—furry friends included! That’s why we’ve adopted a structured hybrid approach that allows you the benefit of a reduced commute while still building strong workplace relationships. Currently, all employees are expected to be in the office two days per week at minimum, with Tuesday and Thursday as our anchor days. In addition to this, each month our Leadership team dedicates three consecutive days onsite to continue to foster alignment and connection across the team. During this time we expect everyone to join us in person to do the same. Please note: our hybrid approach may evolve over time as we adapt to the needs of our team and business.
