Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance infrastructure to support our rapidly growing fintech platform. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to improve deployment processes, automate infrastructure management, and ensure system reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Cloud Management
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure using AWS, ensuring high availability and scalability.
- Optimize cloud resources and implement cost-saving measures without sacrificing performance or security.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, scaling, and management using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
Kubernetes & Container Orchestration
- Deploy, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters to support microservices architecture.
- Improve containerization strategies using Docker and optimize workloads for efficiency and security.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for Kubernetes environments.
CI/CD & Automation
- Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or ArgoCD.
- Automate deployment processes to improve efficiency and reliability across environments.
- Ensure security best practices are followed in all CI/CD workflows.
Software & API Management
- Support backend teams in optimizing API performance, security, and reliability.
- Work with multiple programming languages, including Python, TypeScript, and Go, to contribute to automation scripts and internal tooling.
- Ensure smooth integration of services with databases and optimize SQL queries when necessary.
Security & Compliance
- Implement and enforce security best practices across cloud and infrastructure components.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, incident response, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Set up role-based access controls and permissions across infrastructure components.
What We Are Looking For
Must Haves:
- 4+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure role.
- Strong expertise in AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including cluster setup, scaling, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, TypeScript, and Go.
- Experience with SQL databases and API management.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform.
- Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance in cloud environments.
What Helps You Stand Out:
- Experience with blockchain technologies or fintech platforms.
- Hands-on experience with observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
- Experience optimizing high-throughput, low-latency systems.
- Contributions to open-source DevOps tools or projects.
- Knowledge of multi-cloud strategies and hybrid-cloud environments.
