Client Success, Enterprise (Associate)
About OpenFX
OpenFX is on a mission to become the global backbone for cross-border FX transactions. We are building the infrastructure to power the next generation of cross-border payment systems for institutions. The team's execution has been exceptional, and we're scaling remarkably. We're backed by Accel, Atomico, M13, Northzone, NFX, Pantara and other top-tier investors.
We are seeking a Client Success Enterprise to own the full lifecycle of up to 3 dedicated enterprise accounts — from pre-sale RFP support and onboarding through activation, expansion, and long-term partnership. The primary mission is to maximize lifetime value by driving deeper product adoption, opening new currency corridors, and migrating incremental cross-border payment volume onto the platform — turning landed enterprise clients into high-volume strategic partners.
This person operates as an adaptive generalist who flexes across documentation collection, stakeholder mapping, technical coordination, executive engagement, and account planning.
Responsibilities & Expectations
Pre-Sale & RFP Support
- Support the Business Development team by owning documentation collection and RFP response coordination for enterprise prospects.
- Build and maintain a living library of standard RFP components (company overview, security/compliance documentation, technical architecture summaries, case studies, SLA commitments) that enables assembly of a complete RFP response within 5 business days.
Pre-Activation & Onboarding Ownership
- Own the full pre-activation lifecycle for each assigned enterprise client, including internal system setup, comprehensive stakeholder mapping (decision-makers, influencers, technical contacts, finance/treasury counterparts), and documented engagement plans.
- Coordinate proactively with Compliance, Operations, and Product to clear onboarding blockers before they impact the client timeline.
Trading Relationship Management
- Grow total payment volume (TPV) across assigned enterprise accounts by expanding into new currency corridors, increasing transaction frequency, and migrating additional cross-border payment flows onto the OpenFX platform.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for institutional clients' day-to-day FX trading needs.
- Monitor client trading patterns, volumes, and pricing to ensure optimal execution.
- Work with trading teams to understand their workflows and identify efficiency opportunities.
- Implement a structured account health monitoring cadence, including monthly executive check-ins, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and a documented escalation protocol.
- Establish direct working relationships with senior stakeholders (VP+ or equivalent) within each assigned enterprise account.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in account management, client success, or relationship management with high-value institutional or enterprise clients.
- Strong operator mentality — adapts quickly across strategic planning, onboarding coordination, RFP assembly, and day-to-day issue resolution.
- Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder client relationships.
- Metrics-driven approach with the ability to tie daily activities to TPV growth outcomes.
- Strong communication skills — able to translate technical complexity into business value for non-technical stakeholders.
- Cross-functional collaboration experience working with PDE, Ops, and Compliance teams.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience with FX trading platforms or financial technology products.
- Understanding of API integrations and trading system workflows.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for FX trading.
What Sets Great Candidates Apart
- Experience in high-growth startup environments.
- Strong project management skills for coordinating complex client implementations.
- Experience working with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Track record of growing institutional relationships through data-driven insights.
What We Offer
- Competitive compensation package, including equity in a high-growth company.
- Opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology at a very fast-paced startup.
- Collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Professional development and growth opportunities.
- Work with innovative technology and leading financial institutions.
