Role Overview
We are seeking a Client Success Associate, APAC to ensure the retention and growth of our institutional clients across the region. As a core member of our APAC go-to-market team, you'll manage client relationships end-to-end, understand their needs, and work cross-functionally to deliver tailored solutions that drive their success, while ensuring OpenFX has the coverage required to grow its institutional book across APAC.

Key Responsibilities: Client Coverage & Engagement, Account Growth & Expansion, Driving Operational Excellence, AI-Powered Scale

  • Client Coverage & Engagement
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for a growing portfolio of institutional clients across APAC.
    • Build and maintain account growth plans covering each client's business model, strategic priorities, and growth potential.
    • Drive proactive engagement across the book, ensuring every APAC client has a high-quality relationship with OpenFX.
    • Deeply understand each client's business to uncover opportunities and strengthen the relationship over time.
  • Account Growth & Expansion
    • Analyze client data to identify opportunities for volume growth and increased product adoption.
    • Develop and execute strategies that grow transaction volume by helping clients optimize their FX flows and deepen their activity on our platform.
    • Own the cross-sell pipeline independently, driving  adoption for new currency pairs and products  as they launch globally
  • Operational Excellence
    • Build and maintain a structured management framework for long tail accounts, ensuring consistent coverage and early identification of growth and retention risks.
    • Monitor client health metrics across the book, using data to identify risks and act proactively.
    • Coordinate with Product and Ops to resolve client issues promptly and channel structured feedback into product development.

AI-Powered  Scale

    • Leverage AI as a core part of day to day tasks, automating routine workflows, deepening client insights, and creating capacity for higher-value client interactions.
    • Identify and implement AI-forward practices that raise the bar for how the Client Success team operates, setting a new gold standard for the function globally.

What we are looking for

  • Must-haves:
    • 3+ years of experience in fintech or financial services
    • 5+ years of total professional experience across account management, sales, consulting, and business operations
    • Proven ability to use data to understand client health, identify patterns, and surface risks and opportunities.
    • Advanced fluency with AI tools, applied as a core part of how you work.
    • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage a book of clients independently, with full ownership of outcomes.
  • What helps you stand out
    • Experience working in cross-border payment businesses such as remittance companies, PSPs, neobanks, or payment infrastructure companies.
    • Demonstrated understanding of FX markets and trading operations.
    • Background in B2B client success or sales with exposure to account management or sales cycles
    • Business-level Mandarin proficiency.
