Strategic People Partner (HRBP)
OpenLoop is seeking a highly motivated & experienced Strategic People Partner (HRBP) that will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership supporting specific leaders in driving initiatives that elevate organizational effectiveness, talent management, and company culture. This role demands a proactive, solutions-driven partner capable of addressing complex people challenges while aligning HR strategies with broader business objectives. This position is US remote-eligible, but preference will be given to candidates who are able to work in a hybrid capacity at our Des Moines, IA headquarters.
About the Role
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with leaders to design and implement people strategies that align with business goals and fuel organizational growth.
- Talent Management: Lead workforce, headcount planning, and succession planning in partnership with Talent Acquisition to ensure a strong pipeline of top candidates tailored to business needs.
- Employee Experience: Develop and execute engagement and retention strategies that foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work environment.
- Organizational Development: Guide change management efforts and design initiatives to strengthen organizational structure, leadership capabilities, and overall effectiveness.
- Performance Management: Implement results-oriented performance management processes that drive accountability, continuous development, and business success.
- HR Analytics: Leverage data and insights to inform decision-making and measure the impact of HR programs and initiatives.
- Learning & Development: Partner with leaders to develop comprehensive onboarding and enablement programs that maximize employee potential and long-term success.
- Compliance & Policies: Ensure HR practices adhere to legal requirements and align with company policies and values.
- Employee Relations: Advise managers on employee relations and performance feedback to support effective resolutions and maintain a positive work culture.
- Contract Management: Oversee contract-related HR processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Process Development: Identify and refine HR processes to improve operational efficiency and scalability.
- Manager & Employee Support: Act as a key resource for HR-related guidance and support, addressing both manager and employee needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, focusing on strategic business partnering, organizational development, and talent management.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Core Skills:
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR strategies to business priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
- Proven problem-solving ability with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- High level of discretion in handling confidential information.
- Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments is highly desirable.
