Job Details

The Continuous Improvement Specialist plays a pivotal role within our Claims organization. Dive into a dynamic and impactful role where you will be at the heart of success and innovation. This role is responsible for driving process optimization through data analysis and problem-solving, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. This role demands a tech-savvy, process-minded, and self-motivated individual with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Helping to coordinate, plan, and implement projects by analyzing and understanding project scope and objectives 
  • Liaise and communicate with project stakeholders concerning project details and deliverables
  • Problem-solving by being able to identify problems and find solutions to overcome them 
  • Ability to motivate and inspire others, and enable collaboration 
  • Identify potential risks and blockers, and implement strategies to mitigate them
  • Analyze and evaluate existing process workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas requiring improvement 
  • Conduct root cause analysis of process failures 
  • Analyze and use data analysis tools to collect, interpret, and identify effective solutions as required 
  • Ability to lead process design/ improvement and RCPS working sessions 
  • Document updated process workflows, procedures, and guidelines 
  • Monitor the effectiveness of new processes using key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Generate and deliver detailed reports and presentations on process performance 
  • Effectively communicate and influence peers and leaders on new processes/ trainings

Requirements

  • Property Claims - in-depth knowledge (5+ years) of property claims processes, including FNOL, coverage verification, evaluation, and settlement. 
  • Great Communication - effectively, concisely, and consistently communicates to a wide range of stakeholders. 
  • Highly Collaborative - motivates and inspires cross-functionally and can lead/influence teammates from various backgrounds. 
  • Ability to see the big picture - understands how Claims fits into the company’s roadmap and strategic vision 
  • Data-driven decision-making - proficiency in analyzing quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, measure performance, and drive decisions at a fast pace. 
  • Consistent execution - delivers upon deadlines while balancing competing priorities and staying within parameters of deadlines. 

Nice to have capabilities and skills

  • Experience with Project Management and/or Lean Six Sigma 
  • Background in change management or training delivery to enhance user adoption during process or system rollouts 
  • Ability to pilot innovative tools or processes to improve efficiency, particularly in catastrophe claims or systems optimization 
  • Comfortable facilitating trainings and/or meetings virtually to a large group

Compensation & Benefits: 

The target salary range represents the budgeted salary range for this position.  Actual compensation for this position will be determined based on the successful candidate's experience and skills. We are committed to providing a compensation package that not only reflects the responsibilities and requirements of the role, but also the unique expertise that the chosen candidate will bring to our team.

Target Salary Range

$82,000 - $95,000 USD

The full salary range shows the min to max salary range for this position.  Actual compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications and determined based on various factors including the candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience.

Full Salary Range

$72,375 - $120,625 USD

Depending on position, Employees generally are eligible for cash incentive compensation, including commissions for sales eligible roles. In all cases, eligibility for compensation and benefits is subject to applicable plan and policy terms in effect from time to time.
