Associate Account Manager

The Associate Account Manager will manage a portfolio of restaurant customers and be responsible for the post-onboarding customer lifecycle. This includes supporting restaurant teams in maximizing value from their use of OpenTable and driving additional revenue through upsell opportunities.
This role covers parts of New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Candidates must have access to a reliable vehicle, as local travel is required (up to 30%).
Job Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary advisor for a portfolio of restaurant partners, building trust and driving their long-term success on OpenTable.

Guide restaurants through onboarding, system configuration, and ongoing optimization of their reservation flow and table management operations.

Consult with restaurants to identify needs that align with opportunities to upsell marketing tools and other ancillary products driving revenue growth.

Proactively manage account health to maximize retention, resolve issues, and renew contracts.

Regularly meet with customers and track all activity in Salesforce.

Collaborate with Marketing to execute restaurant-specific campaigns and drive participation in promotions.

Capture customer feedback and industry trends to inform product and strategy recommendations.

Ensure OpenTable integration by placing reservation links on restaurant websites and submitting technical setup documentation.

Consistently meet or exceed quarterly revenue and retention goals.
Required Qualifications:

2-3 years proven experience in account management, customer success, or sales—preferably in the restaurant, hospitality, or tech industry. Experience working in a customer facing hospitality role (i.e. restaurant manager) can be an alternative.

Strong relationship management skills with a consultative, solutions-oriented approach.

Ability to understand a restaurant’s business needs and deliver tailored recommendations that drive results. This includes tracking economic and industry drivers and understanding implications for restaurants.

Comfortable managing objections and navigating upsell conversations with confidence and empathy.

Effective communicator who is clear in writing, persuasive in presentations, and confident when speaking to groups.

Highly organized with strong time management, prioritization, and follow-through.

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and use insights to influence strategy and customer outcomes.

Collaborative team player who thrives in cross-functional environments and fast-paced, evolving settings.

Familiarity with restaurant operations or firsthand experience in the industry is a strong plus.

Proficiency in Google Workspace; basic knowledge of HTML or web tools is a plus.

Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation (all business-related travel expenses reimbursed).

This role may require travel up to 30%.
There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. The range for this United States located role is $68,000 - $72,000.
In addition to a competitive base salary, roles are eligible for additional compensation and benefits including: annual cash bonus; health benefits; flexible spending account; retirement benefits; life insurance; paid time off (including PTO, paid sick leave, medical leave, bereavement leave, floating holidays and paid holidays); and parental leave and benefits.
