Senior Product Designer (Hospitality)

THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Product Designer on the Hospitality team, you’ll get to:
- Lead initiatives that give restaurateurs new and meaningful ways to interact with guests
- Build tools to help our restaurant customers engage guests with tailored communications
- Design product concepts that balance customer needs and business goals
- Become an expert in restaurant operator workflows by facilitating research with restaurant owners and staff
- Work closely with a smart and collaborative team of product designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver experiences that help restaurants provide incredible hospitality for their guests
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
You enjoy solving complex design challenges and are a systems thinker. You have experience designing for web and have an exceptional portfolio that showcases a breadth of product design work. You also have:
- Experience designing for enterprise, or have solved for very complex experiences
- Experience collaborating with product manager and engineers in an agile environment
- Strong curiosity to learn from others
- An appetite and appreciation for feedback from stakeholders and peers
- Led user interviews and usability testing of your designs
- Great visual design skills
- The ability to negotiate, prioritize, and break down design work into measurable outcomes
- Demonstrated experience contributing to strategic product visions
- Expertise in Figma and other prototyping tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and can clearly articulate design decisions

The expected range of compensation for this position based in Toronto, Canada, including commission and/or bonuses is $155,000 - $175,000 CAD. There are a variety of factors that go into determining a compensation range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required.
We offer a competitive base salary and benefits including: health benefits; flexible spending account; retirement benefits; life insurance; paid time off (including PTO, paid sick leave, medical leave, bereavement leave, floating holidays and paid holidays); and parental leave benefits. This role is eligible to be considered for an annual bonus and equity grant.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & FLEXIBILITY
