About the job
The Manager, New Hire Programs will lead a team of New Hire Trainers and own the strategy for how OpenTable ramps talent across the Restaurant Sales and Services organization. This role is responsible for building a scalable, role-specific onboarding approach that helps new hires build confidence quickly, develop the right behaviors, and progress toward performance readiness with consistency. They will define how training, coaching, certification, and manager reinforcement work together across active role tracks, while helping modernize onboarding through AI-enabled learning, coaching, and reinforcement strategies. This leader will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure ramp programs reflect field realities, business priorities, and the evolving needs of the go-to-market organization.
Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of New Hire Trainers, providing strategic direction, coaching, prioritization, and support across Restaurant Sales and Services onboarding programs.

Own the end-to-end strategy for new hire ramp, including program architecture, delivery approach, role-track design, graduation milestones, and readiness criteria.

Define how enablement-led training and frontline manager-owned coaching should work together to create a scalable and effective onboarding experience.

Partner with Enablement, frontline leaders, Product Marketing, Revenue Operations, and other cross-functional stakeholders to align ramp programs to business needs and field expectations.

Establish and track onboarding success metrics that go beyond completion to include ramp progress, behavior change, skill adoption, and business outcomes by role.

Identify and implement AI-enabled tools, workflows, and reinforcement strategies that improve trainer efficiency, learner experience, and speed to proficiency.
Minimum Qualifications
-
5+ years of experience in enablement, onboarding, training, or learning program leadership.

2+ years of people management experience, including direct leadership of trainers, facilitators, or program managers.

Experience designing or evolving role-based onboarding programs with clear milestones, readiness criteria, and performance expectations.

Experience using data to evaluate training effectiveness and connect onboarding programs to behavioral and business outcomes.

Experience applying AI tools or AI-enabled workflows to learning, coaching, content creation, or performance support.
Preferred Qualifications
-
7+ years of experience in enablement, onboarding, training, or learning within a go-to-market organization.

Experience supporting sales, account management, onboarding, customer success, or other customer-facing teams.

Experience building onboarding programs across multiple role tracks, regions, or stages of the customer lifecycle.

Familiarity with balancing central enablement ownership and frontline manager accountability within ramp models.

Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with familiarity using AI to improve enablement efficiency, personalization, and just-in-time learning.

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. The range for this United States located role is $118,000 - $140,000.
We offer a competitive base salary and benefits including: health benefits; flexible spending account; retirement benefits; life insurance; paid time off (including PTO, paid sick leave, medical leave, bereavement leave, floating holidays and paid holidays); and parental leave benefits. This role is eligible to be considered for an annual bonus.
