Now Hiring: Bicycle & Scooter Repair Technician / Delivery Driver – Santa Monica (Full-Time | Hybrid Role)

Position: Repair Technician / E-Scooter Delivery Driver (Hybrid)
Location:1653 12th st., Santa Monica, 90404
Schedule: Friday - Tuesday (9pm - 5am )- overnight shift
Employment Type: W-2 Full-Time
Pay Rate: $20.00/hrly

Job Summary

Veo is seeking a Bicycle & Scooter Repair Technician / Delivery Driver to support both warehouse-based repairs and in-field fleet operations.

This is a hybrid role, where you will split time between:

• Repairing and maintaining vehicles in the warehouse
• Driving a company van in the field to swap batteries, rebalance scooters, and support fleet operations

This role is ideal for someone mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive repairs on electric bikes and scooters (from tightening bolts to replacing major components such as motors)
• Conduct routine inspections and quality checks to ensure all vehicles meet safety standards
• Diagnose mechanical and basic electrical issues
• Log and track maintenance and repair records using internal systems
• Monitor and manage spare parts inventory
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse workspace

Field / Driving Responsibilities:

• Drive a company van to locate scooters and perform battery swaps
• Rebalance scooters from low-demand to high-demand areas
• Follow mobile app instructions to complete assigned routes and tasks
• Perform minor repairs and quality checks in the field
• Respond to on-demand requests to locate or retrieve vehicles
• Follow all company safety protocols and operational procedures
• Take on additional duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

• 1+ year of experience in maintenance, auto repair, or similar hands-on work
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check (5-year history)
• Comfortable driving a company van during shifts
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 80 lbs
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable using smartphone apps and technology for daily tasks
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have

• Experience repairing bikes, scooters, motorcycles, or automobiles (professional or hobby)
• Basic knowledge of electronics or electric vehicles
• Experience in warehouse, logistics, delivery, or field operations
• Familiarity with local streets and navigation
