Job Description:

The Salesforce Developer Level 2 role will be responsible for building features using Salesforce technologies. The Developer is comfortable communicating with Operatus consulting teams, including Architects and Admins, and client business stakeholders and development teams. The ideal candidate will have a minimum 2-4 years' relevant work experience writing code, working with stakeholders and interpreting requirements. It is expected that the person in this role will continue to obtain additional Salesforce certifications and development training.


Responsibilities:

  • System design, development, testing, code review, performance engineering & performance tuning, and documentation
  • Participate in technical design sessions to design solutions that are aligned with business objectives
  • Delivery/development/unit testing of user stories leveraging the Salesforce platform
  • Work towards being a credible subject matter expert to business and partners on the capabilities of Salesforce.
  • Support development leads in delivering features aligned with business objectives
  • Worth with business stakeholders to design innovative solutions
  • Work with internal application teams to design and build APIs to meet business needs
  • Learning and working with tools required to ensure source code control, version management, issue tracking, and documentation

Requirements:

  • Either a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering program with a minor in Computer Science
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to design and optimize business processes and integrate business processes across disparate systems
  • Good understanding of Salesforce product suite, specifically Sales Cloud, Service Cloud.
  • Direct configuration experience using Salesforce point-and-click developer interface
  • Comfortable with programmatic solutions on the Salesforce platform such as Apex
  • Strong understanding in design and development of systems as part of a complete software product lifecycle
  • Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies such as Scrum
  • Development in at least one other Object-Oriented Language (e.g. Java, C#)
  • Salesforce certifications (Admin, Platform Developer 1)

Preferred Skills:

  • Additional Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer 2, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.)
  • Additional Salesforce product suite knowledge, such as Shield, Tableau, Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Einstein, CPQ, etc
  • Experience interacting with and developing APIs
  • Knowledge of SaaS

Salary + Benefits & Perks

  • Salary: $2,500 - $3,000 USD Monthly
  • Work remotely, no commuting to the office
